At exactly 7pm on Thursday 8th October, Sylvia says, "Come in."
If he doesn't know the way yet, Lancelot will have been escorted to her office in the Night Council headquarters. Once he gets there, he's on his own. Sylvia is smiling when he enters, because she has good news to deliver. She has a task for him too, but that can wait. Good news first.

Positivity. A can-do attitude. Never go into a situation thinking that you won't be able to get out of it, and so on. Sylvia isn't thinking about potential failure yet, not with this particular mission. It's not a question of success or failure, it's a matter of how much information they can get from Circle Midnight before the game is up.
And if they can prevent another attack along the way, well. It will have all been worth it.
